About Stephan Geense
Stephan obtained his master's degree in Civil Law at the Erasmus School of Law in 2009. After obtaining his master's degree, Stephan worked for several years as a legal scholar at the Erasmus School of Law at the commercial law department and later at the University of Utrecht. Stephan’s research focused on the law of damages and the law of transport.
In 2016, Stephan changed career path and joined a Rotterdam boutique law firm with a focus on maritime law. In 2019 Stephan joined the customs, trade & logistics team of a top-tier Rotterdam law firm.
SInce 2021, Stephan works as an inhouse counsel for a multinational corporation.
